    GAZELEY STRENGTHENS ITALIAN TEAM – MARCO BELLI JOINS AS DEVELOPMENT DIRECTOR

    10 October 2019 – Gazeley, a leading investor and developer of logistics warehouses and distribution parks, today announces the appointment of Marco Belli as Development Director at its recently-opened Milan office.

    Reporting to Roberto Piterà, Country Director of Gazeley Italy, Marco will be responsible for progressing the initial developments in pipeline and finding new opportunities. Gazeley re-entered the Italian market in June 2019 as part of its expansion program across Europe. The primary focus in Italy is sourcing and acquiring new land for development to allow Gazeley to support its customers, as well as to expand its platform and customer base in Italy through selective acquisitions.

    Marco brings with him extensive experience in development and construction within logistics real estate. He joined Gazeley from Amazon, where he was responsible for logistics assets, last mile logistics and customer services buildings, primarily in Italy but also in France, Spain and across Southern Europe.

    Roberto Piterà, Country Director of Gazeley, Italy, said: “The response to the opening of our new office in Milan has been extremely positive, with significant operations already underway.
