22nd March 2021 – Sistema Poland, one of the leading logistics operators in automotive sector in Poland, has extended its lease agreement at GLP Gliwice Logistics Centre. Sistema Poland is the largest Polish supplier of comprehensive logistics services for the automotive industry. The company has been operating on the Polish market since 1994 and currently employs approximately 1,500 people in 11 locations throughout Poland.
GLP Gliwice Logistics Centre is a modern warehouse facility located within Katowice Special Economic Zone. Currently, the complex comprises ca. 51,000 SQ M of high-quality distribution space, and 13,115 SQ M of which are occupied by Sistema Poland. In total, the company occupies 220,000 SQ M of warehouse space and 260,000 SQ M of industrial space, across all of its premises.
The transaction has been supported by Optimum Area, a recognized and experienced advising company for warehouse and industrial tenants, specializing in finding the most suitable locations for logistics and production processes in Poland, especially in Upper Silesia.
