The building has been awarded a BREEAM “Very Good” certification, reflecting Gazeley’s ongoing commitment to sustainability across its European portfolio. The warehouse will benefit from photovoltaic solar panels and clerestory windows, which will result in considerably lower operating costs compared to industry norms. It will also feature electric charging points for vehicles and bicycle parking, as well as safe access for pedestrians, all promoting sustainable modes of transport.
G-Park Illescas is strategically located in the Plataforma Central Iberum, a key logistics hub in the region, at the junction of the A42 and the CM-43 roads. The area is in the south of Madrid and is home to some of the most well-known brands, such as Amazon, H&M, Airbus, Michelin and Toyota.

Oscar Heras, Director of Gazeley in Spain, said: « We are continuing to grow our presence in the region and have made significant progress in expanding our portfolio to meet the growing demands of logistics customers. At just thirty-five minutes from Madrid, G-Park Illescas is exceptionally located and has been developed with industry-leading features, high quality materials, and with respect for the surrounding environment.”
