Magna Park Berlin-Werder (Havel) is located southwest of Berlin, directly on the A10 motorway ring. This allows for direct access to the A9 (Berlin-Leipzig) and A24 (Berlin-Leipzig) motorways, with the A2 (Berlin-Hannover) motorway a 7-minute drive away. The development is 14km from Potsdam and 30km from Berlin.

Berlin and Brandenburg together form the German capital region and constitute one of the most thriving economic areas in Europe. It is a rapidly growing region and acts as a distribution hub for the continent due to its central location.

“This project demonstrates once again the great confidence of our global investors in Gazeley Northern Europe “, says Ingo Steves, Managing Director, Northern Europe, Gazeley. „At the booming Berlin location, we are developing modern logistics areas on a large scale on stock, which we will now market with our local partners and then rent out quickly. In doing so, we are continuing our success story in Northern Europe “, explains Steves.

“The Corona crisis has shown us the importance of the logistics industry and its indispensability for the free movement of goods in Europe “, says Werder’s mayor Manuela Saß. „The city of Werder (Havel) can further expand its market position as a modern logistics location with the possibilities created by Gazeley. The settlements are an excellent way to exploit the economic opportunities offered by a business park in the heart of the capital region “, explains Saß.

Rieke Ringena, Development Director, Gazeley, said: “We look forward to beginning this latest phase of development at Magna Park Berlin-Werder. With excellent connectivity owing to its location directly on the Berliner Ring, the development will be ideally suited to serve the fast-expanding supply chain operations of our growing customer base. Our focus remains on delivering flexible, sustainable warehouses of the highest quality and we expect this development will continue to raise the bar.”
