The state-of-the-art facility and strategic location will enable Aosom to increase its inventory capacity, speed up the logistics process and expand its range of distribution to a wider customer base throughout the Iberian Peninsula including Portugal.
The logistics centre is fully integrated in to its natural surroundings and holds a BREEAM “Very Good” certification, reflecting GLP’s commitment to the development of sustainable spaces throughout its European portfolio.
G-Park Valls is the first investment of GLP in the Catalonia region, and the successful lease affirms GLP’s investment in the area.
Óscar Heras, Country Manager of GLP Spain, said: “We are delighted to welcome Aosom as customers in our G-Park Valls. This development reaffirms our commitment to Tarragona as an important hub in the Spanish logistics market. We will continue to invest in Catalonia, a strategic regional market for GLP’s ambitious business plan in Spain, which we continue to develop and execute.”
Emi Chen, CEO – General Manager of Aosom: “As an e-commerce business, the leasing of G-Park Valls is strategic for the evolution of AOSOM’s businesses in Spain in which we combine a new generation warehouse with the proximity to the main transport links including the port of Tarragona”.
