Daan Van den Hoven is Head of Fund Management for GLP Europe. Before joining GLP, Daan worked over 10 years at Prologis having various Pan-European responsibilities. Until recently, Daan had been acting as Vice President of Transactions and he has executed over €1 billion in transactions across Europe. Prior to that, Daan served as Director of Capital Deployment and as a Portfolio Manager for the Prologis European Properties Fund II where he was responsible for formulating and implementing the short and long-term fund management strategy, investor reporting and investor relations. Daan also worked as an asset manager for Northern Europe and has implemented asset-level strategies for approximately €1.2 billion of real estate.
Daan holds an MSc in Real Estate Management & Development from the Eindhoven University of Technology.
Shane is responsible for Reporting, Tax, Treasury, FP&A and Business Technology. Prior to joining GLP Europe (previously Gazeley) in March 2014, Shane worked in various finance roles for three FTSE 100 companies. He joined Multiplex in 2004 as the Financial Controller for its UK Construction business, which was acquired by Brookfield in 2007. Since then he held various group reporting roles mainly overseeing Brookfield’s European real estate and infrastructure businesses. He worked on Brookfield’s acquisition of Gazeley and subsequently joined the business. Shane qualified as a Chartered Accountant with Coopers & Lybrand in 1994 and is an associate member of the Association of Corporate Treasurers.
Rachel set up Gazeley’s in house legal function when she joined in 2014 and leads Gazeley’s legal strategy in Europe. She supports our teams on all of our transactions and coordinates our dedicated team of external counsel. She is also responsible for our governance, risk management and compliance programmes including conducting appropriate training.
Prior to joining Gazeley, Rachel spent 10 years in the commercial real estate department of Herbert Smith Freehills LLP where she gained a broad experience of major corporate real estate acquisitions and disposals, corporate occupier lettings, acquisition finance and development projects.
Rachel has an MA in Jurisprudence from Oxford University. She has a solid understanding of cross border legal distinctions and has contributed to publications of the International Comparative Legal Guide to Real Estate and other legal journals.
Haidee has worked for Gazeley for 13 years and played a key role in supporting the transition and restructuring of resource during the sale of the Gazeley Group in 2008 & 2013. Haidee is responsible for the HR strategy and operations across 4 different employment entities in the UK, France, Spain and Germany.
Working closely with internal stakeholders, Haidee is responsible for driving the creation of an environment that embeds the company’s Vision, Mission and Values, enabling strong performance from our colleagues that exceeds Gazeley’s high standards and makes Gazeley a great place to work.
Haidee is a member of the Charter Institute of Professional Development and contributes to their ongoing research on the world of HR & people development.
