GLP Further Extends Relationship with Deppon Logistics in China

GLP has pre­leased approximately 91,000 sqm (977,000 sq ft) to Deppon Logistics, one of China’s largest 3PL providers. Deppon Logistics is GLP's second­-largest customer in China by leased area. Including the two pre­leases, Deppon Logistics leases 267,000 sqm (2.9 million sq ft), or 4.1% of total leased area, with GLP across 13 cities in China.

Singapore, 26 March 2013— Global Logistic Properties Limited (“GLP”), one of the world¹s leading providers of modern logistics facilities, with a market-leading position in China, Japan and Brazil, today announced that it has pre-leased approximately 91,000 square metres (“sqm”) (977,000 square feet (“sq ft”)) to Deppon Logistics, one of China’s largest third-party logistics (“3PL”) providers. Deppon Logistics is GLP’s second-largest customer in China by leased area. Including the two pre-leases announced today, Deppon Logistics leases a total of 267,000 sqm (2.9 million sq ft), or 4.1% of total leased area, with GLP across 13 cities in China.

The following details the recently signed new lease agreements.

  • 68,000 sqm (720,000 sq ft) pre-leased at GLP Park Jiangxia in Wuhan, Hubei Province. Strategically located in the Wuhan Jiangxia Economic Development Zone, GLP Park Jiangxia has excellent access to Wuhan’s well-developed transportation infrastructure and is just 5 km from the G42 (Shanghai-Chengdu) Expressway and 10 km from downtown Wuhan. GLP Park Wuhan Jiangxia will consist of seven buildings with a total gross floor area (³GFA²) of 159,000 sqm (1.7 million sq ft) upon its completion in January 2014.
  • 23,000 sqm (248,000 sq ft) pre-leased at GLP Park Harbin in Harbin, Heilongjiang Province. GLP Park Harbin is GLP’s first project in Harbin. Located only 12 km from downtown Harbin, the park will consist of four buildings with a total GFA of 97,000 sqm (1 million sq ft) upon its completion in June 2013.

GLP’s cooperation with Deppon Logistics first started in 2007, and now has been extended to 13 cities: Changzhou, Dalian, Guangzhou, Hangzhou, Harbin, Hefei, Langfang, Qingdao, Shanghai, Shenyang, Suzhou, Wuhan and Wuxi.
