GLP Park Brno Holubice is being built to the highest technical and sustainability standards, achieving a BREEAM Excellent rating. The buildings have a clear height of 10-12m and are energy-efficient with above-standard insulation (200mm) and equipped with heat pumps.

Photovoltaic power plants will be installed on the rooves, capable of producing tens of megawatt-hours of emission-free energy annually. Infrastructure for e-mobility is being built, including charging stations for electric vehicles and e-delivery trucks up to 5 tons to enable last-mile e-mobility for clients. Rainwater is to be utilised as utility water, including for toilet flushing or watering greenery.

The park has also been designed and built as a ‘Digital Twin’ using BIM modelling and premises equipped with thousands of data sensors. The data will be utilised in a unique property management system twiGIS to ensure efficient operations and maintenance.

Jan Palek, GLP's Director for the Czech Republic and Slovakia, comments: "The Czech Republic is one of the most industrial countries in Europe, with many manufacturing companies expanding and looking for new modern premises. They require quality warehouses of the highest standards to accommodate their production lines or robotised distribution systems. GLP is uniquely positioned as leading global developer to build and subsequently operate industrial parks to such high standards and offer customers such flexibility."

We appreciate their support in optimising our operations and their dedication to delivering value."
