GLP Pre-Leases 77,000 sqm to Deppon Logistics

GLP has pre-leased approximately 77,000 sqm (829,000 sq ft) to Deppon Logistics, one of China’s leading 3PL providers. With the inclusion of these leases, Deppon Logistics is now GLP’s second largest customer in China at 2.8% of total leased area.

Singapore, 14 January 2013 – Global Logistic Properties Limited (“GLP”), one of the world’s leading providers of modern logistics facilities, with a market-leading position in China, Japan and Brazil, today announced that it has pre-leased approximately 77,000 square metres (“sqm”) (829,000 square feet (“sq ft”)) to Deppon Logistics, one of China’s leading third-party logistics providers. With the inclusion of these leases, Deppon Logistics is now GLP’s second largest customer in China at 2.8% of total leased area.

The following details the recently signed new lease agreements.

  • 53,000 sqm (570,000 sq ft) pre-leased at GLP Park Langfang in Hebei Province. Strategically located approximately 40 km and 60 km from Beijing and Tianjin respectively, GLP Park Langfang will comprise seven buildings with a total GFA of 140,500 sqm (1,512,000 sq ft) upon its completion in April 2013.
  • A total of 24,000 sqm (258,000 sq ft) pre-leased at GLP Park Hefei Hi-Tech in Anhui Province. GLP Park Hefei Hi-Tech is situated in the Hefei Hi-tech Industrial Development Zone, an important manufacturing base in the region, and will consist of four buildings with a total GFA of 77,600 sqm (835,000 sq ft) when it is completed in May 2013.

 

GLP’s partnership with Deppon Logistics first began in 2007 and has now been extended to 12 cities including Changzhou, Chongqing, Dalian, Guangzhou, Hangzhou, Hefei, Langfang, Qingdao, Shanghai, Shenyang, Suzhou and Wuxi. Including the two pre-leases announced today totaling 77,000 sqm (827,000 sq ft), Deppon Logistics leases a total of 180,000 sqm (1.9 million sq ft) with GLP in China, making them GLP’s second largest customer in China by leased area.
